Talk:Ezra Brooks Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I can find no evidence to support the assertion that Ezra Brooks is a Tennessee whiskey and not a bourbon. Versions of the article prior to October 2005 called it bourbon. It's labeled as bourbon and listed on straightbourbon.com, which does not list Tennessee whiskeys like Jack Daniel's.
If no one can present evidence that Ezra Brooks is a Tennessee whiskey, i'd propose reverting to the older wording.

I reverted it to the older version. It is a product of St. Louis and it used to say so on their website (they seem to be building a new one so that information is temporarily unavailable). Although it isn't up on their website right now - its pretty easy to find the info just by googling "ezra brooks". I'll provide a citation - but I want to wait for the official site to be done before putting it up.
I also think all that mumbo-jumbo about the mint julep should go and whoever keeps writing in his own opinion about the product should check out wikipedia's editing guidelines. Drsocc 15:56, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
Could someone please prevent Edge350 from further editing this page? Admin? Anyone? The page is certainly no gem - but all this stuff about his own opinion (statements like "a layperson from ohio thinks ezra brooks is...") certainly doesn't belong in here and the persistent reverts to his own edits are really hindering the page from developing. Thanks. Drsocc 01:52, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
An admin needs to get involved with this page (mediation?). Edge350 does not respond to talk or to the discussion on this page.
Ezra Brooks is a product of St. Louis. It is owned by the David Sherman Company. It is located at this address: 5050 Kemper Ave Saint Louis, MO 63139-1106 (314) 772-2626 www.davidsherman.com
alright - this is getting to be vandalism. at first i thought this user might just be uninformed or something - but this is over the top. I just reverted this guy's edits yet again and this is the documentation thus far. Drsocc 05:16, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
The 90 proof thing might be a bit misleading. I personally own a bottle of Ezra Brooks Bourbon that is 80 proof... —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cyclohexane (talk • contribs) 04:19, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
